Hi. Hoping you can help me as part of my 2020 reading challenge. I’m struggling with a couple of the books.
1) recommended by a local librarian. In the absence of the library’s being open, could you recommend me a book?
2) clever title
3) a hideous cover
4) a book everyone is talking about.
5) a book that will make you smarter.
Do you have any suggestions please.
Thank you 😊

Hi Kirstyr
oooh some of these are tricky! I work with lots of books but i'm struggling to offer suggestions. can anyone else suggest anything?
1. I recommend Stickleback by Mark Connors - he's a local author and his book is one of the best books I've read recently.
2. hmmmm I'm struggling with this one - anyone else got any ideas?
3. Any Mills and Boon cover!
4. hmmm once again - I work in libraries and there are lots of books people talk about - there doesn't seem to be 'the one' at the moment.
5. Not sure about this - I'll have a think - anyone else got any suggestions?
Sorry I'm not much help.
Take care
Dxxx

Hi!
I've heard from other people that some libraries offer equipment on loan to start creating podcasts. Is this true in the Bradford District?
Thank you.

Thank you very much, the main one I needed was the recommendation so that is fantastic. Thank you again. Cx

Hi Unfortunately, it isn't something we are doing at the moment - I will get on to our digital officer though and get him to investigate as this sounds like a great idea. Thanks Dee
